The session focuses on the Reports Module in Heritage.
All sessions include a tutorial with hands-on practical exercises. Where possible, these are based on the data in the Demonstration Dataset which is available in your copy of Heritage. The workbooks can be used again at your site by other Library staff.
Who should attend?
All attendees must have previously attended an introductory training course or workshop in Heritage reports to be eligible to attend this workshop.
The ability to extract accurate statistics from your Library Management System is an integral part of library management and essential in helping you manage all aspects of your library. This workshop consists of two main parts. The morning session covers the tutorial and structured learning. For the afternoon session we ask attendees to bring along their own reports to work on. Your Trainer is there to assist you in producing useful reports you can save to a USB memory stick (which we provide) to take back to use in your own library. The Advanced Reports workshop includes a tutorial followed by hands-on practical experience to consolidate what you have learnt. Where possible, all notes given are based on examples provided in the Demonstration Dataset with comes free with your own copy of Heritage. This means the course notes provided can be used again at your site by other library staff.
