If you are still running version 4.2.4 then you may be interested in the patch to 4.2.4a.

For users of 4.1.32, you can now make the direct upgrade to 4.2.3 of Heritage from 4.1.32.

Additions and changes to the Heritage Support Website

Heritage upgrade from 4.2.3 to 4.2.5 and the upgrade for 4.2.4 to 4.2.5 are now available to download.

Heritage Patch 4.2.4a

The upgrade from 4.2.3 to 4.2.4.

You can now make the direct upgrade to 4.2.3 of Heritage from 4.1.32. This upgrade means you can miss having to do three individual upgrades and should save a lot of time and hassle upgrading.

There is now a new section to the 4.2 Helpsheets to cover all aspects of the new system and all of the extra features that are now possible. Over time this will grow to cover customising, circulations and other aspects of the system. Although there is a helpsheet on installing the Online system there is now a new helpsheet to cover configuring it with your Heritage settings.

Extra workshops are now available for 2005 covering such areas as Reports and new features with 4.2..

Heritage Online version 2.4 is now ready for downloading and implementation. This product requires a licence and Heritage version 4.2.3 or greater.

You can now download the latest upgrade to 4.2.3. Amongst some bug fixes and enhancements this upgrade also contains the changes required for the new Heritage Online and the Advanced Bookings Module.

Not so much a new addition but a tidy up and hopefully a slight improvement to the Support Site. Every now and then there have been changes to the site to try and make it more consistent, easier to read, navigate and understand.

Some of you have questioned the colour schemes used but on the whole feedback has been positive. If you have any suggestions or improvements to the site please let us know by filling out our feedback form.

There are now updated helpsheets to cover Command line reporting in Heritage 4.2.

A few customers have been having problems configuring Heritage to send email via Microsoft Exchange. Hopefully this new helpsheet will help address some of those issues?

Although we have had a Catalogue export tool for some time there is now an additional tool to Import the Catalogue records. This new helpsheet covers setting up and using the Catalogue Import in Heritage 4.2.

There is a new tool available to check that links to websites still exist. You can download the URL checker from the Upgrades section. The helpsheet to go with it is now also obtainable.

There is a new 4.2 Helpsheet about Issuing, Renewing & Returning Items

There is a new 4.2 Helpsheet about using the HReports program to run your old Heritage reports carried over from 4.1.32.

The Helpsheets have now been separated into two areas. One area will cover Helpsheets from 4.1.32 of Heritage and below. The other section covers all Helpsheets from Heritage version 4.2 and above.
